The Mechanics Laboratory is affiliated to the Transportation Engineering School and consists of a material mechanics laboratory and an engineering mechanics laboratory. It mainly undertakes the basic mechanics experiment teaching work of more than 2,000 undergraduate students majoring inmarine engineering, navigation, civil engineering, machinery, shipbuilding, materials, transportation, logistics and other majors.In teaching, we actively undertake research and engineering projects in related fields and provide technical support for civil engineering, transportation, machinery and other industries. The mechanics laboratory has a construction area of about 450 m². It currently has about 1.5 million equipment assets and about 200 equipment sets. Tensile, compression, torsion, pure bending beam normal stress electrical test can be established. At the same time, it can complete a comprehensive experimental project: bending and torsion combination experiment; determination of elastic modulus and other experiments.
