Graduates with master degreeshave a good command of solid and broad basic theories, systematic and in-depth expertise, the current situation and development trends of this field as well as grasp the international research frontiers. Moreover, graduates develop the ability to conduct creative research independently and solve more difficult and complicated practical engineering problems theoretically and technically, such as vehicle operation quality, safety and reliability, monitoring and maintenance.
Closely combined with engineering work, this discipline mainly researches: vehicle friction and wear mechanism and control technology, vehicle reliability, failure analysis and testing technology research, new material, the application and development new technology and new techniques of vehicles, new energy technology of ships, etc.
