This program aims at developing professionals who master a solid theory and profound and systematic professional knowledge for vehicle operation engineering. Candidates analyze the current situation and development trend of this field as well as grasp the development of the international research frontiers.Besides, candidates have the ability to conduct creative research independently and solve more difficult and complicated practical engineering problemstheoreticallyand technically, such as operation quality, safety and reliability, monitoring and maintenance of vehicles. Main research fields are as follows: friction and wear mechanism and control technology of vehicles, research on reliability, failure analysis and testing technology of vehicles, application and development of new materials, new technologies and new crafts for vehiclesas well as new energy technology ofships.
