Based on shipping logistics, this program developsleadinglogistics professionals specialized in the analysis, operation and planning of logistics system for the relevant enterprises and public institutions, as well as the scientific research institutions.

Discipline Profiles:

DMU is one of the first two universities in China to offer logistics engineering degrees. It is the leader in terms of offering master degree ofLogisticsEngineering in universities inthe northeastofChinaand the chairman of the Logistics Engineering and Management in Liaoning Province. Currently, there is a doctoral program in the second-level discipline of logistics engineering and management, and a professional master programoflogistics engineering. LogisticsEngineering is one of the core disciplines in the "Double Tops" of DMU. The disciplineis characterized by its development towards the international logistics which is based on marine transport and multimodal transport.Currently, there are 10 professors and 7 associate professors whohave considerable professional experience of teaching and a valuable academic wealth of training.There are more than 100 research projects of all kinds, more than 400 published academic papers, andover100 SCI and EI articles. Inthe discipline, there is anexperimental teaching center for transportation and logistics thathas sufficient laboratory resources, includinglogistics management laboratories, logistics facilitiesandtechnology laboratories, RFID smart container yards and stations laboratories, shipping management laboratories, port engineering laboratories,andserver roomsoftransportation and logistics.
