On April 26, the 9th China- U.S. Transportation Forum was held in Beijing. DMU President Sun Yuqing and Director of R & D Office Gong Yongjun were at the meeting.

The theme of the forum was “Transformation of Transportation”. The two parties talked about technology innovation, transportation safety and rescue and discussed automatic drive and infrastructure construction. They had a consensus on strengthening the cooperation in safety and innovation and the two parties will work together to lead the transformation of transportation.

On April 25, President Sun and Director Gong were invited to the 10th China- America Shipping Forum. The two parties had a discussion on dangerous goods transportation, shipping policies and supervision and unmanned ships.

It is learned that the China-U.S. Transportation Forum had become the main channel between the two countries to exchange ideas on policies and experience and push forward cooperation.
